Shanghai Tenth People's Hospital Charging Project

In 2017, Shanghai Tenth People's Hospital initiated a charging infrastructure project through a formal public bidding process to meet the growing demand for electric vehicle (EV) charging among hospital staff and patients.

The goal was to establish a centralized EV charging and interchange system to improve the management of electric vehicles, prevent disorderly parking, and ensure emergency access for ambulances and medical personnel. By optimizing parking efficiency and supporting green transportation, the hospital aimed to enhance operational safety and create a more convenient, eco-friendly environment.

The implementation of this smart EV charging solution helped the hospital promote sustainability while improving the daily commuting experience of staff, ensuring safer operations, and supporting China’s broader new energy vehicle development goals.
